skip allowed but auto UD is not happening

Hi Sir,

I am facing case where for a material,we assign DMR in Inspection plan material.It is a raw material.For this material ,I maintained 2 stages (normal inspection ,skip inspection).Now as per DMR it is in skip level for that specific material.

When we are doing MIGO ,the lot is generated and SKIP status update in the lot but stock is posting to inspection lot and user need to do manual ud for the lot which is SKIP.

Now in DMR ,the skip is in inspection lot level and auto UD and skip allowed in material master QM view.Still auto UD and stock posting is not allowed for this specific material whereas for a different material it is allowed.

Both materials has same DMR.

Hi,

If a skip-to-stock occurs because of a skip-lot. In this situation, a material can be posted to unrestricted-use stock immediately for a goods receipt even though a quality inspection is scheduled and the goods are to be posted to inspection stock. A skip-to-stock occurs if none of the characteristics in the inspection lot need to be inspected (skip lot) because of the current quality level.

Please re-check below-highlighted points:

1. Set the indicators for skips allowed and the automatic usage decision for the inspection type in the inspection settings of the material master

Also, the characteristics in the inspection lot must allow a skip (in the case of dynamic modification at the characteristic level); this is controlled by the characteristic weight assigned to a characteristic.

Stock-relevant materials can be posted out of inspection stock when the usage decision is made for the inspection lot. The system can post the stocks automatically (2. depending on the settings for the usage decision code, for the same plant in QS51) or you can post the stocks manually.

We are doing skip at characteristics level and collective UD and it is working fine.
