This will depend on what are you trying to achieve?
In the meantime, have a look at the IEQM* and ITOB* user-exits via SMOD, and the EQUI_UPDATE BADI via SE18.

Actually,We have included one customized field in equipment master .Once data is entered in structure tab.I can't be able to go back to general tab.
So you used user-exit ITOB0001 to add the customised field??
