The Web Intelligence server memory is full - Is there application level to configure the memory

We have BusinesObjects XI R2 running on Windows Server 2003 R2 with 8Gb of RAM.

We are encountering error "30280: The Web Intelligence server memory is full" from time to time. We are anticipating an increase of reporting activity due to a project that we are going to launch soon. We have concerns that the above error may happen more often.

Is there a memory configuration that we can set or Java heap size that can be tweaked?

XI R2 has been out of support by SAP for several years now, I'm surprised it is still working at all.

But no, there is no heap - its a 32bit C++ process, with 2gb memory limitation. Your choices are to add more webi processing servers (if the server memory is not fully utilized) or expand horizotaly with new server machines.
