Clearing GL Balance

Hi,

While running FS10N i am seeing balance for each period. even though its values are minimal my auditors are asking me to clear it out and keep it to 0. when i try to clear to clear it by f-03-clear it says no open items for that GL account. kindly suggest me if there are any ways to clear the balance. i have attached few screenshots for reference.
