navigation between pages through chart in sap lumira

It would be nice to provide enhanced context-based menu options for chart and table selections on click to help you easily navigate to another page in the story board containing relevant or more detailed views of similar data and passing along the selected value as a filter. It can be thought of as a drill-down from one report to another. Tableau provides this functionality and I find it really useful in cases where there's no single linear flow to a story, which is in most cases.

Here's the scenario:

1- On page 1, you're looking at a bar chart summarizing spending for the different business units.

2- You click on the bar for one of the BU's and it brings up an option (among other currently available options) to "View detailed spending"

3- This takes you to page 3 that contains a table with a list of transactions filtered to the BU you selected on the previous page.

Hi Kolluru,

Great idea! I think it's better if you submit this idea to

Hi Kolluru

Tuncay is correct. And adding this to the SAP Idea is a great suggestion as Lumira 2.0 is being coded right now (ETA, mid year+).

Another option is to use Design Studio for this type of swiping/navigation
