ESS Error Message - Specify a class name and data is not up to date

Seeking your help on the error message when approving the leave request or deleting the VL request.

Error Message :

Data is not up-to-date. Exit and reenter the application

Specify a class name

Searching for the error message, I found this blog https://blogs.sap.com/2016/01/23/web-dynpro-versus-sapui5/ - Vishal's blog says: "It is acceptable to read data somehow informing the client that the data is not up-to-date as someone else has changed it (optimistic locks)."

Hi Team,

The error message can't reproduce in test data however, can you help me how to deal this error message in ESS also with the error message , Work Item 000000000000. Can someone enlighten me with this kind of error message and how to fix this ?

Hi, as per Tammy's suggestion, the 'data not up-to-date' error may be because of locks or network disconnection at the browser side. Is this happening for all the leave approvals or for specific case? You may need to simulate this in test system and debug it. If second error is consequence of the first error, then retry as per suggestion.
