FSCM Credit management - Information on Formula button is inactive

Hi all,

We will maintain formulas to calculate score and credit limits automatically. So, when we go to business partner master data into the tab "Credit limit and control" for score / "Credit profile" for credit limit, we can see the calculated score and credit limit. Just beside the calculated credit limit field in tab "Credit limit and control", there is a small icon for information button on formula - below calculator icon and above display liability icon. Same is the case with this icon in tab "Credit profile" for score calculation. But these icon buttons are always inactive. Do you know how to make it active so that we can come to know what calculations system has done to derive the score / credit limit.

Did you get any solution for this. I am facing the similar issue. Information on Formula button is inactive in my case too with standard scoring formula as well.

Hello Sridhar,

Try the following.

Go to SPRO --> Fin. Supply Chain Management --> Credit Management --> Credit Risk Monitoring --> Master Data --> Create Rule for Scoring and Credit Limit Calculation --> Mark the rule and select "Credit Limit" on the left window --> Check mark the box "Trace"

Thanks for checking again. Yes, I activated that already. Even I thought it could be the triggering point for this issue and activated that. Inspite of that still not able to see that icon active.

Thanks for confirmation.

In that case, it could be due to some other issue. Because my Rule is also for calculation of score. Even if I change to another standard Rule, this information icon is not active. I tried in multiple systems; all of them are showing as inactive for this button. This button, if I am not mistaken, will help to display the calculation method used by the system for the calculation of score.

Hello Sridhar,

I have checked my system again and I noticed that in my system only the calculation button is active for the score but not for limit calculation. I have changed the Rule in the BP because the formula that was maintained for limit calculation was not working. With another rule in the BP and another formula in the background the system was able to calculate a limit an the calculation button was active.

Maybe your rule does not work. What kind of rule do you have maintained for Scoring and Limit calculation. Try maybe a simple one.

Example - Formula Limit Calculation:

Score * ' 1,000000000000000E+04'

Probably we are talking about different buttons. I am mentioning about information button with "i" letter on the icon; not about calculation button with calculator symbol. Can you please check once again in your system. Thanks.

Hello Sridhar,

I have made the experience that the right scoring rule needs to be chosen in order to have the icon active.

The Scoring rule that you chose in the BP tab "Credit Profile" needs to have a formula maintained for calculating the score and/or the credit limit.

Also you need to be in the change mode.

Yes, I am in change mode and also scoring rule is assigned to BP master which has the formula for the calculation of score & credit limit.

Inspite of all these, I am not able to see the icon active.
