This is the voting thread for the SAP Community Coding Challenge #3. For the challenge details, please check out this blog post: https://blogs.sap.com/2020/08/03/sap-community-coding-challenge-3/

There are six finalists. In this question thread you will see six answers, one for each finalist. In each of these six answers you will see:

  • a link to the finalist's profile
  • a link to the specific solution submitted (check out this link to see the solution)
  • one observation (from all those that we made on each and every submission)

Use the answer voting mechanism to choose the one solution you believe should be the overall winner. And, as before, please remember that this is all for fun and education. We are all winners here because of the great knowledge sharing!

As always, there were so many great submissions and it was extremely difficult to choose the finalists. We want to thank you for putting in the time and effort to be part of the coding challenge #3. We look forward to seeing what you'll show us in the next one!

Thanks for including my submission as a finalist, annajung! Yes, for a lazy person like me, using external libraries would be my first go to as I wouldn't want to reinvent the wheel. And thankfully in the Java ecosystem, there's bound to be someone who has already done what you want to do 🙂
