Update XSD in CPI with out redoing the complete mapping

Hi Guru's,

I have to update a mapping, and I need to add different fields in to the existing XSD.

So far my tries have not been successful to update and XSD without adjusting the mapping.

I think I do something wrong, are there any ways to do this correct?

Hello Nitin,

Open your iflow in Edit Mode and open your mapping.Then follow screenshot which gives Replace schema option and you can leverage the same which will ensure there is no impact on existing field mapping.

Hi Nitin,

If you manually change the XSD from the resources tab, any existing mapping should remain in place. That is, unless you remove or change a field that was used in the existing mapping, or you add a mandatory field to an XSD that is being used as the target message. In those cases you will have to update the mapping there where the fields were changed or added. But the rest of the mapping should stay intact.

Do you maybe have an example of what you're trying to do? Please add screenshots as that will make it easier for us to help.
