Dynamic Modification Rule disabled for Inspection Plan usage 3

Hi experts,

Can someone please explain why the DMR assignment option in inspection plan header is disabled when we set the inspection usage 3 (universal)? We are working with a material with inspection type 89 assigned to it and we are creating a manual inspection lot. However, when we are about to assign the task list to it, by default usage appears as 3 at the time of creation of manual inspection lot. Also, the inspection plan assigned to that material has usage 5 by default. So the workaround for us is that we need to manually change the usage from 3 to 5 in QA01 when creating a manual inspection lot. Thus, can someone clarify why DMR is disabled when we create/update inspection plan with usage 3 (universal)?

Hi,

Please check the DMR criteria settings in the configuration . The task list usage level and also at the Maintain inspection Lot Origin and assign Inspection type. Check whether the DMR criteria has been enabled or not

Which exact config point are you referring to? In Maintain inspection lot origin and assign inspection type there is no option of configuring DMR relevant settings. Where exactly you configure task list usage ?

Please check the Config Path and the highlighted Part.

SPRO > QUALITY MANAGEMENT > QUALITY PLANNING > inspection planning > General > Define task list usage .Please find the below screenshot which explains why you are not able to assign the DMR, As per the standard the DCr is not defined for usage 3. Incase you want DMR for Usage 3 Define over here the criteria
