New fields in the BSEG table

Dear all,

Are there any of you experts that have extended the BSEG table with new fields. The table is a cluster table and have therefore NOT the "append structure" button ava. - is it possible just to add the fields at the end, or will that mess-up the table??

I have heard that there are a nicer way to extend this table - do you know it??

Please help me ASAP...

we've added a field to table BSEG and it works fine.

Great! - how did you get the fields on the inputscreens? by changing directly to the screen or where there a kind of customizing (field-group status i FI/CO) so the fields came directly on the input-screens WITHOUT changing the dynpros??

Hi Lars,

don't change table BSEG manually, as far as I know you'll risk to loose data. Please check OSS-Note 13131 for more information and just let me know if you'll need more help.

Hi,

We are also looking to add a new field into BSEG and consequently into the line item display etc., I have also checked the note 13131 but that only talks about the line item display.

Any ideas or has anyone added an additional custom field to BSEG table ?
