Kernel update in all landscape before SAP EP Upgrade from 7.4 to 7.5

Hello guys.

Im going to upgrade SAP Enterprise Portal 7.4 to 7.5, im going to do it in this way: sandbox, quality, productive and development system. Productive system has a different kernel version, its going to be updated this sunday.

My question is simple, can i create the XML stack for the four systems in maintenance planner right now? i must wait for productive?

Hi Marco.

1. Yes, You can create the XML in one go for all systems. before upgrade start check the all the systems kernel & SP level are same.

2. Why you are following the upgrade sandbox, quality, productive and development systems? any reason?

Thanks for your answer, the reason to go in that way is just a Customer request, in case they need to make a productive adjustment, they have the development environment available for changes and not wait so long for the entire landscape to be updated.
