Can SAP PO consume a ABAP based web services?

Hello experts,

I'm pretty new in PO world. I saw there is a tutorial on ABAP based web service. But there is none on how to create a web service for PO (Maybe I can't find it yet).

My question is, can PO consume ABAP based web services? I believe web services are pretty generic and standard solution. Is there any similar tutorial but more towards PO? How to create a basic PO call to web service etc.
