Can't we create a business layer on top of OLAP connection in 4.1 SP06 ?

Hi All,
I have tried creating a universe using a OLAP connection in 4.1 SP06 ,but it says the following message as in the below screen shot.

Issue :

When trying to create a Business layer on top of OLAP connection , it is throwing a message below.

Please check and let us know , Can't we create a business layer on top of OLAP connection in 4.1 SP06 ?

Fyi, we are able to create the business layer on top of OLAP connection in 4.2SP03.

Please let us know ,how to avoid this ?

Update 1:: Unable to create a universe (Business Layer ) using a OLAP connection in ( 4.1 SP06)

If you want to design a universe on a Bex query you need to use the universe design tool rather than IDT and this will access the Bw data using MDx engine.

As of version 4.1 SP06 ,With OLAP, there is no need to create a universe now, you just pick the connection when creating the report and a transient universe is created on the fly in the background.

Also, instead of using MDx ,the data will be processed using the native engine in Bw, which means queries run faster.

Update 2:: Able to create a universe ( Business Layer ) using a OLAP connection in ( 4.2 SP03)

The most awaiting enhancement had already implemented for SAP BW in 4.2 SP03.

Because of this , we are able to create a universe using a OLAP connection.

Enhancement : SAP BW linked nodes are supported both for SAP BW direct access and UNX based on SAP BW.
