Importing/Exporting oData Endpoints

Hi experts,
I am working with oData in SAP ByD and I am having some difficulties by using the SAP ByDoData Editor.

Specifically, in my project context I will need to re-create an oData endpoints in multiple Tenants and I don't see a easy way to do this.
I have read that there is a oDataModeller but I am not sure if it is applicable to SAP ByDesign. And I am not sure where to find it either.

Can you guide me on how to export this oData endpoint, so I can import it again in a different tenant?

Thanks in advance,

Dear Hector,

When you select an Active Odata Service, Download button will be enabled.

Once you click Download, an xml file will get downloaded into your system.

Now, Login to the new tenant and Click Upload. Choose the Downloaded file to upload the service into the new tenant. Then, Do a screen refresh to see the uploaded odata service.

Regards,

Palani.

Hi Hector,

You can download and upload OData services. Below are the steps :

  • Start the OData Modeler in the source system, ie, Go to Application and User Management -> OData Services.
  • Go to Custom OData Services.
  • Select the OData service.
  • Click Download
  • An XML file is saved on your local computer.
  • Start the OData Modeler in the target system.
  • Go to Custom OData Services.
  • Click Upload and provide the stored XML.
