DSO activation failed

Hi Expert,

Successfully activated request in DSO but DSO activation process got failed in the process chain due to run time errors TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED.Please find more information in attachment.

Please help me on this.

Thanks to all,

This issue is related to having more requests in the table RSICCONT, so getting dump while activation process sorting descending order based on timestamp.

Issue fixed - I have deleted some requests when we loaded old data.

Check the number of records of l_t_part. It should appear in the dump (where variable values are displayed).

If possible try to restart the you AIX / Oracle DB and then try to activate the DSO, Still if you are facing the issue pls check the SAP note 2037093.

Hi Velu, very stranger. In my opnion I still believe in somenthing about the memory usage. I will tell you why:

- The error occur when the system is trying sort a internal table (line 306).

But, here some questions to help with your analyse:

- What is the size of this table?

- How many requisitions there is in the log?

- Did you check the content of inactive table? How many records?

- Is this DSO partitioned?

This DSO working from the last 7 years, we are not changing anything in info object level. But issues are happening from the last week.

Think is data is updating into the table but jobs are getting failed.

Hi Velu, this error occur when there's no more memory/temp space in you system. Check with Basis team if they can help you.

it's happening only that particular DSO and the remaining DSO getting successful.
