SAC Geo map - is there a limit on the number of Point of Interests displayed?

I have uploaded approx. 2500 points of interest (POI) without problems but now some of them are not displayed in the geo map, not even when I drill down to the specific region. Is there a limit of how many POIs can be displayed?
