Stock from existing storage location to Brand New Warehouse

Hi,

Now I have a brand new warehouse (Congratulations) and assigned to an age-old existing storage location on ecc 6.0

Storage location has various stock, but for testing, I want to get only one material to WH

How would I do that please?

I was thinking about MB1B, MIGO, LT01, etc...

Your pointers will take me a long way.

Hi Alex

In this case, Process is in below step.

Either when you make assignment to any existing storage location. before assignment you need to transfer stock one dummy storage location.

or Create one dummy storage location. transfer all material to that location. make assignment to existing location and transfer material from dummy location to existing storage location. also material should be extended to WM views.

Please chekc if you have done the same.

Thanks for your query.

1 - What is the storage location number

In my system, I have only one Storage location for a simple one plant.

I have created a Warehouse which I assigned it to only Plant ( no other plants) and the existing only storage location.

2 - I assume they are two different storage locations (the location where you currently have stock and the location which is set up as warehouse managed) within the same plant.

there is only one storage location. None other than this.

3 - Is the brand new warehouse is an SAP WM warehouse, SU-managed, or HU-managed or simple WM without any SU/HU.... (or) is it in EWM?

Yes, Warehouse is an SAP WM warehouse indeed and it has its storage types, storage sections, Bin types, and Bins. I have not yet created any HU, probably I would do it at a later stage.
