Move cursor over icon and get description

Dear experts,

I am sorry for this very simple question but I just cannot seem to find an answer by my search in the forum nor via google.

When I scrolled over an icon in any transaction in SAP without clicking on it, a description such as document overview, layout etc. was shown. Now I do not see any text anymore and I cannot find the necessary setting to reactivate it.

Does someone know where to set this setting?

This setting is very simple as you said. my suggestion is to always search the SCN before, this can save your time and also value other people who have already contributed to this answer 🙂

but, just open the "Customize local layout" and go to "Options", now follow like below:
