unable to activate SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP and SAP BW 7.5 SP01 on SAP HANA SP10 [Developer Edition]

Hi everybody

I am trying to activate SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP and SAP BW 7.5 SP01 on SAP HANA SP10 [Developer Edition] pm google cloud, unfortunately I get the following error

Please be aware that the selected solution "SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP and SAP BW 7.5 SP01 on SAP HANA SP10 [Developer Edition]" is only fully supported on certified platforms which is not the case for the VM size n2-highmem-8 of the Google Cloud Platform cloud provider.

Although the selected solution has been tested on this platform, support remains limited to community support even if an SAP Cloud Appliance Library subscription package is in place.

did anyone face such issue before?

Hello,

1. An information might be seen in the tooltip of the instance status icons, you can check this.

2. Check also that the quatas of your GCP account are enough and the VM sizes you have chosen are supported by GCP in this region.

Dear customer,

This is not an error message, it is a warning message and you can still create a solution instance from the SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP and SAP BW 7.5 SP01 on SAP HANA SP10 [Developer Edition] solution.

can you see both pictures I attached. Status of the instance is undefined and VM status for Linux is prepared.

I send a request to raise the quotas to 24. I hope this fixes the issue

Hi Ivan,

I have deleted the instance and tried to create a new one. I always get this warning at the beginning and when I click ok and proceed. I get the error message as I stated in my first question. Do you know this error message?
