Deploying Cloud Application Programming Model to any other environments

I am new to CAPM. I want to know is there any environment other than cloud foundry which has hana database. If there is please share your thoughts...

Dear lellavasundhara,

as you see in Database Support it's possible:

"You can already integrate your database of choice in a project or a contribution level."

and vobu and I have started cds-pg to get PostgreSQL support for the CAP Node.JS runtime. Maybe you find some time to contribute during the Devtoberfest 2020.

At pg-beershop you find a sample application that uses the cds-pg module and in Run on Microsoft Azure I describe how to deploy on a different environment.

Thank you for quick response..

In the above link they are using cloud foundry. But in my case what ever it may be the database i want to deploy CAPM application to Google cloud. Is this possible? If possible please share your thoughts...

Hi lellavasundhara,

yes that should be possible. You can deploy a Node.JS application to Google App Engine. Should be quite simmilar to the example I've shown for Microsoft Azure.
