Need your expertise to advise on the below scenario.
I want to send a notification to external system on contract expiration (SD Contract). This notification should trigger automatically (Background job).
I have tried Action rule and Action date option in contract profile config but it didn't give me the expected result. Maybe I am not using it in right manner.
What I have achieved is, I could able to send a notification to SAP inbox but all via a manual process.
Means, I have executed SDV1/SDV2 t-code in the foreground and created the follow-on action (send notification) manually.
I executed these t-codes in the background it just gives me a list of contracts and did not create follow-on action automatically.
Anyone can advise, what is SAP standard options to send a notification in case of contract expiration.
