proxy class creation and purpose in ABAP

hi..

how proxy class is created in abap? what is the purpose of this type of class?.. kindly,provide explanation using example.. in order to more clarification below I have highlighted in screenshot.

It is like an inbound FM for idocs. It gets called when there is a message to be handled in the inbound queue. I think it's maitained through tcode SPROXY.
