Can we remove 'Favorite' folder for IBP users in excel add-in by authorization config?

Dear all,

Is it possible to disable 'Favorites' folder for IBP users in IBP excel add-in by any authorization config?

Because we want sales people to maintain forecast data in certain planning level, if users open planning view from his favorite, it might cuase data disaggregation to wrong level due to customized favorites. So I want to know if there's any method to disable Favorite folder in users IBP excel add-in by any config so that we can make sure users open planning view from template every time.

Any idea?

Thanks a lot

Alan

    Hi Alan

not possible as far as I know.

There is a customer influence request "Provide option to disable KFs edit at aggregated level" , is that similar to what you want to achieve working only on specific levels?

You can always add your own request with a use case

I think some customer tried with VBA code in Excel and lock key figures if they are not on the right level, but I cannot provide you with sample code. It seems to work, but has the draw-back that if the planner decides to create a view without any template, planners may work their way around it
