SCP Neo: access svc platform domain from API Management Service

Hello,

I have added a svc platform domain for a java application running in scp neo. In the documentation it is said:

svc.hana.ondemand.com - provides access within the same region; for internal communication and not open on the Internet or other networks.

I could not access the java application via this svc url from an api proxy (api management service) running in the same subaccount. Is there a way to achieve this?
