Lifetime of messages in BOPF when using SADL

Hallo all,

We are generating an FPM based on a Business Object from BOPF, using the wizard.

This wizard uses SADL and messages are (standard) persistently saved in table SADL_MESSAGES. In our own developments we can influence this by setting the lifetime to "/bobf/cm_frw=>co_lifetime_transition". This way the are not saved.

In the standard validations the lifetime of the messages is set to

"/bobf/if_frw_c=>sc_lifetime_set_by_bopf". This constant is defined as

constants SC_LIFETIME_SET_BY_BOPF type /BOBF/CM_FRW=>TY_MESSAGE_LIFETIME value 0 ##NO_TEXT.

This is the text in the definition of the constant "Lifetime is set by BOPF depending on the configuration"

We experienced this for the first time in these standard validations:

/BOBF/CL_LIB_V_ALT_KEY and in /BOBF/CL_LIB_V_MANDATORY_ATTR.

However we do not find anywhere how the Lifetime is set by BOPF depending on the configuration.

We checked this with our consultants and also they do not find any documentation on it.

Can you tell us how we can configure this in BOPF?

Thanks a lot for helping us out.
