SAP PI: File not delivered if SFTP receiver filename is set as *

Hi,

This is File to SFTP scenario using KEY authentication. We were able to connect to the reciever SFTP, but file is not getting placed.

Here, the confusion part is when i put receiver filename in SFTP as *, then it is showing the above error. If i give filename as the sender filename, then it is getting delivered.

I tried giving as ".* " and " *.* " , but stil same error. "Message could not be forwarded to JCA adapter". I checked their SFTP, the list of files mentioned in the screenshot are available there. Then don't know why it is showing this in "Error list".

Please let me know why " * " is not working in SFTP receiver.
