We have recently downloaded the trial version of Crystal reports and have been checking the tutorials. We've starred to test the program and wanted to begin and clicked on "Empty report", and then selected "New conection" and tarted looking for Excel. We've seen that in a tutorial there was an option: "Access/Excel(DAO)" but it seems like we can's find it.
You will need to install a 64 bit version of Office so you get the 64 bit drivers if you want to use native Access/Excel driver. Assuming Office has a 64 bit version, Check with MS if they have one.
As Dell mentioned, the ODBC DSN will need to be 64 bit.

In newer versions of Crystal You need to create an ODBC connection to your Excel file. If you have Crystal 2016 or older, this needs to be a 32-bit connection. For Crystal 2020 it should be a 64-bit connection.
