SuccessFactors Create/Import New Hires through API

Hi everyone,

We are trying to build an integration to create/import new hires in SuccessFactors Employee Central. I'm curious which API can achieve this? Which entity should I be looking at?

I'm also wondering if there is any field to indicate new hires in the Employee Central/Foundation API?
