Validation and F4 values for fileds manufacturer in IE02

Hello all,

is there any exit or BADI to put validation and F4 values on fields Manufacturer, model and serial number in IE02..

For validation,

  • Did you already check user-exit (EXIT_SAPMIEQ0_002 / IEQM0007) aka : Customer-Defined Check/Change in Manufacturer Data for Technical Object

For search help

  • it does not appear that SAP has provided any suitable option, you may need to apply modifications to the standard dynpro (explicit on value request) or the ddic elements behind the fields (check table/foreign relation to trigger search help).
