SAP PI Integration with Sharepoint to read multiple files from folder

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to read multiple files one by one in alphabetic order from team site/sharepoint folder.

SharePoint(Files.txt) -----------> PI ------------> ECC(Proxy)

Kindly suggest what is the best way to connect to SharePoint? Can we connect asynchronously to SharePoint(as sender System) from SAP PI?

Or do we have to connect with SharePoint synchronously as Receiver System using Webservice or API approach?
