MM Request for Quotation obsolete

Dear experts,

the regular process for request for quotation is clear. Create multiple requests for quotation, wait for the quotations, enter data and compare.

But how to handle request for quotations where no quotation is given? How to handle a request for quotation where the vendor did not send any quotation?

I would say that I need to mark the request for quotation for rejection on item level or deletion.

Am I right?

Will the rejection / deletion stop also warning / reminder messages towards the vendor?

Many thanks for feedbacks and suggestions.

Best regards

    Hello Patrick G,

In this case, in ME47 you could just set the "delete indicator". (You just select the line and delete the line as we would normally do, but in this case the line stays there and this delete icon appears).

This Quotation with deleted indicator it will not be shown in ME49 anymore.

    Hi Roberto,

many thanks. Will this deletion indicator also avoid reminder mails / faxes towards the vendor?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards
