Dear Experts,
Request your valuable guidance on the below point noted in the SAP note 2268120 - S4TWL - Digital Signature on conversion. ( presently we are in the task of ECC 1605 Simple Fin. to 1909)
- "Required and Recommended Action(s)
Check before the upgrade that all open signature processes are completed. This is generally relevant for all signature processes, independent of the signature functionality used (legacy or class-based signature tool)"
With the above Required & Recommended action , is it necessary to clear all open Inspection Lots with Digital signatures
( Results & UD / wherever applicable ?), then only conversion step will be successful?.
Requesting your review and valuable guidance on above point.
Thanks & Regards,
Theja
Hi Dharma,
Yes. You have to close all the inspection lots / Notifications with Digital signature before conversion. As the Fiori apps in S/4HANA system are not supporting the classic digital signature functionality.

I don't know but I would really like to hear back what you find out about this.

Dear Craig,
We have completed the conversion. As per QM - conversion went well without closing the Digital signatures for open lots also.
I will update further on the processing of Lots using GUI & Fiori apps with the digital signatures in converted system as Mr.Thirumani noted.

Theja
Dear Craig, Good Day !!!.
- In continuation on the above discussion, herewith I would like to share the information reg Two step digital signature process issue found during upgrade (from S/4 HANA 1610 to S/4HANA 2022) very recent.
- After upgrade testing - We have faced 2nd Dig signature issue in QEDS ( i.w whichever lots completed first level signature in 1610 found issue on doing second signature after upgrade to 2022 with error message).
- SAP proposed a workaround solution to overcome the issue respective to QEDS.
Thanks,
Theja
