Hello Everyone,

Having trouble getting Auto Reaction Method working for CCMS Alert. I've configured OnAlert_Email in RZ21 (Made a copy, configured copy).

(RZ21)Configuration is as follows;

Name = ZCCMS_OnAlert_Email

EXECUTION TAB

Execution = Call-SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT

Execute method on = Any server

Execute method for = Table of several MTE's

CONTROL TAB

Execute method = Only in central system

Startup method = none checked

PARAMETERS TAB

Sender = MCEYROLL

Recipient = PROCESSCHAIN

(PROCESS CHAIN IS A DIST GROUP I'VE SET UP IN BUSINESS WORKPLACE IN CLIENT 000 and 100)

Recipient Typeid = R

RELEASE TAB

Auto-Reaction Method = checked

(RZ20)Alert Properties as follows;

GENERAL TAB

Message class = RT

Message number = 636

Text = Terminated jobs on app server

Severity of alerts = 50

Maximum number of Alerts = 10

Which alerts kept = All

STATUS ATTRIBUTE TAB

When should message cause alert = Always

Change of value on alert = Accept value

METHODS TAB

Data Collection method = <NO_METHOD>

Auto-reaction methed = ZCCMS_OnAlert_Email

Analysis method = CCMS_BP_ABORTED_JOB

SCOT is configured to send every 5 minutes. I can send emails from Business Workplace using the Shared Distribution List "PROCESSCHAIN" with no problems.

When the configured Alert is triggered CCMS shows the alert but action never happens. I'm stumpped.. Any help would be of value.

Kindest Regards,

Mark Ceyrolles

Figured out the problem. Had to set it up as a Periodic Job in the Control Tab then set the job to run more frequently.

Thanks Anyway..

Hi Mark,

I'm having the same problem. Could you please let me know what background job was you scheduling to fix the problem?

Thanks,
