[Ariba Integration] SLP integration from Ariba to S4HANA

Hi everyone,

We are trying to integrate Ariba SLP with MDG via CIG, we already execute sourcing setup interface in S4hana and tick some checkbox including SLP Confirmation Out Request, SLP Oubound Request, SLP Confirmation In Request, SLP Inbound Request .

We have successfully integration master data , RFQ, PO, Contract.
The main problem is when we want to push new Supplier in Ariba to S4HANA, the transaction in the CIG transaction tracker have "Complete" status but in S4HANA we got an following error:

------text: A fatal error occurred when processing partner

------id: 020(MDG_BS_BP_DATAREPL)

------text: ID of the local system cannot be determined

------id: 004(MDG_BS_BP_DATAREPL)

Are you able to solve the issue.

Please let me know what is the cause, since we are also having the exact same issue.

Hi,

We get the same error - 026(MDG_BS_BP_DATAREPL) & 020(MDG_BS_ECC_BP_CHECK).

MDG is not in scope.

Please assist.

Kindly assist, if anyone can give inputs and advise to resolve the issue so that BP sends the confirmation out message back to ARIBA SLP via CIG

Check the result of function module: OWN_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_GET. It gotta return the local system you configured on Ariba integration.

And also check this BADI, maybe you have to implement one:

I already configured DRFIMG before I post a question. And the function OWN_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_GET returns exactly my logical system.

Do I need to configure the BAdI, I have not configure anything related to BadI before.
