WBS fields status option based on levels

We need to make the WBS fields optioanal based on the level of WBS .The investment program position needs to be mandatory for top level WBS and optinal for lower level WBS.How can w achieve this

If IM program position is mandatory at Level 1 you should not assign it at any other 2+ levels to avoid inconsistentses.

This is standard functionality for all PS fields. No validation is required.

Hello,

You can use Validations to achieve this. SPRO--> Project System --> Structures --> Operative Structures --> WBS --> Maintain Validations.
