Customer preferred MOT on inbound edi orders

Hello

We have a customer who is sending their preferred method of transport in their 850 inbound orders.

We are using Orders01 idoc. Where in the idoc should this value be mapped so that SAP uses the customer requested MOT?

I think this depends on what you expect to do with this preferred method of transport.

If this is just for informational purposes - you can store this in some order text (your functional consultant can create a separate textID if this is needed).

If this is not only for information - what exactly should be special in the processing of an order with preferred method of transport specified by the customer? In this case it is best to speak with the business users and clarify the requirement.
