I am trying to create a connection to SAP HANA in Analysis for excel, I have entered the hostname of the HANA ENTERPRISE environment, the ip address I tried with several ports and I could not create the connection,

Let's first verify that you can connect to the EPM-MDS service.

Do you get a response from URL: http(s)://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/ina/service/v2/GetServerInfo and http(s)://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/ina/service/v2/GetResponse?Request={%22Metadata%22:{%22Expand%22:[%22Cubes%22]}}

Port 8000 connects over HTTP and assumes the instance number = 00. Correct?

Is this

• an SAP HANA 1.0 SPS 12 single container system, or
• is the system hosting tenant databases?

For tenant databases, we would need to configure the SAP Web Dispatcher to redirect the public URL to the XS engine process of the tenant.
