Transport Management System Include system in transport domain for SAP Netweaver Developer Edition

HI SAP Community,

I have 2 SAP Netweaver Developer edition, named it as (Dev and QA). Then, I've come across this topic about STMS wherein you can "INCLUDE SYSTEM IN TRANSPORT DOMAIN", but it seemed that the DEV could not be accepted in the QA Domain controller. Is this because I'm using the SAP Netweaver Developer Edition, wherein they both have the same SYSTEM NAME, NPL as out of the box system from this edition? Thank you.

I don't think you can have two system with the same SID in one transport landscape. Most files in the log folder depend on the SID and you could not know what happened to the transports by reading the logs. The name of the buffer file in the buffer sub-directory of /usr/sap/trans is also identical to the SID, so the TMS would not know which system is meant and what was done with one transport request in a system.

You could set up two transport domains and create a domain link.

I think it's really cannot be done due to having the same system name. Unfortunately, since I'm just starting out in SAP and the one I have is the Netweaver Developer edition with NPL as out of the box system name.
