Deficit of BA Unrestricted-use (Batch)

Dear Experts,

I want to transfer the stock from one storage location to another (Same plant). I need to transfer the stock to the same batch number (B1058). The batch (B1058) is available in both the storage location. When I try to do the transfer posting between the storage location I'm getting the following error message.

We have stock for the batch (B1058) in the storage location from where we gonna transfer the stock. But the error message says "there is deficit of stock" in the storage location where we gonna transfer the stock. Why do we need to have stock in the storage location where we gonna transfer the stock (receiving Storage location).

    Hi

We cannot rely on MMBE for actual ATP quantity of a material. You may check the actual stock overview in CO09, MD04, this will give you an actual picture of the stock.

Further, you may directly copy past the message number in google and will see that so many questions for the same issue and can get some hint too.

    Thanks
