How to group values not in top N in one row in SAP Analytics Cloud

Hi all,

I would like to have a table that displays a top 15 and on the last (16th) row I want to group (aggregate) all the values not in this top 15 on a single line.

Can anyone guide me in how to set this up?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Ruben,

Have you considered using calculated dimensions as a workaround ?

  • First create a measure based calculated dimension, let's call it D1, the aggregation context needs to be the same as the visualization. For instance if the visualization displays Sales by Store, Store needs to be included in the dimension context of calculation
Define 2 members to discrimate between values you want group in the 'Others' category and the ones you want to keep.
  • Create a second calculated dimension with an IF statement based on the value of dimension (D1) you created first
IF([d/"D1"]="Others", "Others", [d/"Atlantic":Store] )

See screenshots in below.
