Workflow - User Script - Specify Participant

Hi

Does anyone know how to specifiy a "participant" in a Workflow user script?

My objective is to be able to route a task to a specific user and I am thinking I need to assign a “participant” in the user script ?

Has anyone been able to successfully do this ?
