How to pass analytical query CDS View parameter to another query prompt?

Hi Experts,

I am unable to find a solution for a requirement where I need to pass the CDS view parameter from the main query entered at selection screen to a Jump To target query having the object as a prompt. Example: I have P_Version as a CDS view parameter in Analytical query 1. This parameter is used to get the Plan Amount based on the entered Version. The query has both Actual & Plan Amount and Actual Amount is only entered as Version 0, hence Version is not in the report layout.

The requirement is to pass the P_Version to a Plan Line Item query which has Version as a prompt. I am unable to pass the entered value from selection screen of main report to target report in the Fiori Target mappings.

Is there a standard way a pass the CDS view parameter for a object not in the report layout?

We are on S/4HANA 1809 FP1 On-prem.

Any inputs would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Ajesh

Dear Ajesh,

Unfortunately, it seems to be taking longer than usual for your question to be answered. You might want to try an alternative route to speed things up.

Please check if a similar question has already been asked in the Community. We have found that sometimes questions that have been answered before are no longer receiving responses.

The easiest way to do this, is to visit the All Questions page and search for your specific topic.

You could also check the SAP Support Portal and search for SAP Notes, SAP Knowledge Base Articles and more.

If all of this doesn’t work, I would suggest that you create a support ticket. All you need to do is log onto the SAP Support Portal with your S-user ID and password: http://service.sap.com/message

Thanks,
