Hello Everyone,
I had created strategy based maintenance plan.In that 3 Months,6 Months,Yearly this are the strategy maintained. One Maintenance call for 1 Yearly strategy is on 18/12/2020 & i want this call on 15/09/2020. so please give me your suggestion.
Thank You.
Hi Gaurav,
I see weeks in your strategy, now the real problem behind is either you maintain 1M = 4WK or you have change the unit. It is not advisable to combine Week and Month.
In SAP 1Day = 1 Day, 1WK = 7 Days, 1M = 30 Days, 1Y = 365 days
This is how the system consider the scheduling.
Your requirement cannot be obtained because of your call horizon is 100%.
100% Horizon - Plan Date / Call Date falls on same day.
90% Horizon - Call Date falls on 10% before the Plan date. For 1 MOn. Plan Date = 30/01, Call date = 27/1
Even though you change your call horizon, since your strategy unit is week, system will check based on 7 days.
Hope this clarrifies.
Regards
Terence

One slight correction, assuming (1M = 1 MON) and not (4 WK, or 30 DAY)..
1M = 30 days if the scheduling indicator = TIME.
1M will equal the number of days in the specific month if scheduling indicator = TIME -Key Date
.
I also agree with NOT using multiple units of measure (e.g. WK and MON) in a strategy wherever possible.

Hi,
You need to have the call horizon 10%. The call date for 1 year 27/09/2020. reduce further if you want to have at 15/09/2020
Schedule - Start in Cycle - Enter the completion date18.09.2020 and Offset at 9M.
In other way, i prefer to have at 70% and you can get the order 27 days ahead.
Your maintenance plan has quarterly package, so system consider the call date based on this package (lowest package). 30 days with 70% cal horizon = 9 days - For quarterly 9X3=27 days

Thank you so much Maria & Pete.
You really explained well.
I tried this with manual call on required date 29/11/2020. It gives me maintenance call on that day without affecting the other cycle.
Thank You Once again...
