S/4 HANA Conversion - SUM ERROR - START_SHDI_PREPUT

Hi,

I'm doing a conversion from EHP7 to S/4 HANA 1909. During the SUM phase START_SHDI_PREPUT, where the shadow instance should start, i'm having an error while connecting to the hana database.

The error is "Secure store error: d:\701\w\eq0qbiy32v\src\interfaces\securestore\impl\securestore.cpp:473 - (91014) Failed locking the secure store. Failure reason: $reason$ [dbsh 1283]". I have checked OSS notes / foruns and I can't find any solution to this. Any idea of what could be the problem?

    Hi,

The issue was missing security on folder .hdb (where hdbuserstore keys are located) for user SAPServer<SID> and <SIDADM>.

    SUM is running again. Thanks.

    Hi Tiago Monteiro,

From your DEVTRACE.LOG, the SUM is unable to locate the key - UPGSHDKEY and hence connect the shadow instance.

Please check the key . Log in with <sid>adm at database server and execute : hdbuserstore list

If no UPGSHDKEY available, create the one using :

    hdbuserstore -H <Hostname> SET UPGSHDKEY <HANA_DB_hostname>:3xx15 SAP<SID>SHD <password>

Another reason could be different physical and logical hostnames.

    Refer 2343639 for details.
