Hi All,
We are using Jira tool, what are the advantages of integrating jira with SAP Solution manager(focused build).
And also please let me know how this integration works, I am not finding any documents that how this integration works, I can only get details about how to integrate.
Integrating Jira with SAP Solution Manager Focused Build yields several benefits. Firstly, it enhances collaboration among development teams, ensuring seamless communication between Jira and SAP Solution Manager. The integration supports bi-directional data flow, facilitating real-time updates and maintaining consistency across both platforms.
This integration particularly streamlines Change Request Management (ChaRM) processes, optimizing the efficiency of handling change requests from creation to deployment. Moreover, it centralizes project management by linking Jira projects with SAP Solution Manager Focused Build, providing a cohesive and unified view of project progress.
The integration takes advantage of specific features in SAP Solution Manager Focused Build, such as its OData web service API, to connect external tools like Jira during the build phase. To grasp the intricacies of the integration, refer to the documentation and resources offered by the Jira Connector for SAP Solution Manager Focused Build, bearing in mind that specific details may vary depending on the version and configuration.

Hello Sunil,
You might want to familiarize yourself with this open source project that SAP actively developed and participated in; https://github.com/sap-archive/solman-fb-jira-addon .
You might also want to register for this webinar hosted by CoreALMM ; https://corealm.com/20200923-sap-agile-project-management-using-jira/ (No, I don't work for CoreALM) .
Good luck with your project.
Best regards,
Rammutla
