Logon Waiting Time is very long

Dear Expert,

I got report from user that her user id takes time very long for logon SBO.

I went to check on workplace, I found that it took over than 5 minutes to logon (After input user name and password). When compared with my user id, it take time less than 15 sec. to logon.

User ID type of user is professional user while my user id is administrator user.

Could anyone kindly advise me how to get this issue solved?

Please advise,

Choke

Hi choke,

Refer to SAP Note 1727485 and check whether it helps or not in your case.

Hi all,

1st of all, I do appreciate for all comments on this post.

For this case, I found that it might caused by some authorization checking program from implementor to let program check user authorization since user logon.

I tested by revoke all user authorization on PO approval off then log on time been reduced sharply.

I had asked to implementor to take care for this case but there is no any response yet.

So, I'd like to update you all for your information on this case.

Choke

Boa noite! choke. Tive a mesma experiência!

obrigado

You could also check log files for the user. Il there's a lot of files, the logon is slow down.

We have this problem with some of our customer, just have to delete older files, and the logon works normaly.

Hi Pierre,

Could you give me more advice where / how to delete older files?

However, I noticed that this case happen on some uid who have authorize to approve document only.

Logon time will be reduced sharply when I revoke their right on approval out.

Have a good day,

Choke

Hi,

there's some options now in B1 client.

In Help -> Options logger, you can define a max folder size and also clear the folder :

You could also use some scripting with powershell or bat to remove older file for example.
