0CUST_SALES not in active version

Former Member

Hello all,

I get the following error message when trying to install business content for info source 0CUST_SALES:

"0CUST_SALES not in active version"

I can't seem to activate it and the info source is "white". It should be green when active... It was also white before installation in business content repository..

Why is this? And how do I fix it?

Best regards,

Fredrik

Hello and thanks for your reply,

I have installed several business content objects before in the same system and this result is new to me.

If I install the info object 0CUST_SALES, I get the error message:

"Attribute 0CRM_BP_SAL from characteristic 0CUST_SALES not (actively) available"..

Furthermore, the info object is not being installed at all..

Does this really prevent me from installing this info object? Shouldn't it be possible to install anyway?

Best regards,

Fredrik

Hello Fredrik,

You need to install 0cust_sales with all necesary object grouping option.

May be someof the dependent object or pre-requisites necessary for the infosource may be missing and have to be activated, hence this error.

Hope this helps..

thanks,

Hello again,

I have now succeeded :-)..

However, I some info objects (0CUST_SALES) I need are not available for display in RSA1 --> info objects...

I know that they exist actively because I can reach them from the info source.

How do I see them in the menu?

Fredrik

Hi,

Double click on the infoobject catalog where you want to see these IOs.

In the right frame you'll be able to see all IOs. Transfer them to the left frame and activate catalog.

After that you'll see IOs right there.

hi Fredrik,

check first if 0CUST_SALES is active.

you may need to install infoobject 0CUST_SALES with all related attributes infoobject.

you can use 0CUST_SALES as starting point to collect other infoobjects.

rsa1->business content->left panel 'object type', middle panel infoobject and 'select object', choose '0CUST_SALES' and 'transfer', it go to right panel.

choose collection mode 'manual' and grouping 'only necessary objects'. execute and install.

hope this helps.

Hello,

When I fetch the 0CUST_SALES info object from the business content repository (metadata) it is not active there either... It's "white" (not active)...

When I try to install 0CRM_BP_SAL (which is a missing attribute on 0CUST_SALES) I get the error:

"Char. 0RATE_TYPE is exclusively an attribute (cannot be a navigation attribute)". I have changed this setting on 0RATE_TYPE (not display attribute only), but it still gives the same error message.. Strange..

Best regs,

Fredrik

Hi,

have you already checked wether the InfoObject 0CUST_SALES is active?

If not, check if all Attributes assigned to 0CUST_SALES are active.
