Hi Experts

My Business want to no more use the a link on web page , so i need to remove the HTML and delete the related webdynpro program , so im planing to disable the webdynpro application in SICF instead of completely deleting the program , so can you please confirm disabling the webdynpro application is enough for my requirement?

Yes you can deactivate the service from SICF and remove the URL reference from the web page.

If someone does get hold of the service and tries to use it a different error will show. Check in your dev landscape by deactivating the service.

Yes deactivating link from sicf will work,it will be visible to user but when user click on it it will throw error

Other way is to hide link itself from user portal

This you can do using lpd_cust
