Using Query views in Analysis Office for Excel

Hi,

Business wants to use the Query views in BW system for the reports and they are using Analysis Office for Excel to analyze the reports. As we checked, we can save the query views but not to a folder/role. Is it possible to save the query views to the role? Is there any setting that should be done for this? Please suggest.

Thanks for the response Abhishek.

However, we want to save the query views to a role in Analysis Office for Excel. The links you have shared gives information about the BEx Analyzer tool to create and save the query views.

From what I have seen there is nothing different for what/how you create for AO, The roles and query views that you create for bex can be visible in AO. When we did PoC many years ago the BeX saved workbooks and queires from the role were visible by default in AO. Not sure if thisngs have changed now
